THE “WIN A VIP EXPERIENCE FOR TWO FOR A TASTE OF REGGAE SUMFEST” TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The “Win a VIP Experience for Two for a Taste of Reggae Sumfest” Promotion (the “Promotion”) Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to you and govern your participation in the Promotion for a chance to win prizes. You should read these Terms carefully before participating in the Promotion.

“We” or “us” means Hardware and Lumber Limited, a company registered under the laws of Jamaica with registered offices at 697 Spanish Town Road, Kingston, Jamaica. References to “we”, “our” and “us” in these Terms include our subsidiaries and affiliates (“Affiliates”) from time to time.

“I” or “You” means the person participating in this Promotion.

If you do not agree with or accept any of these Terms, you should stop participating in the Promotion immediately.

1. What is the “Win an Experience for Two For A Taste of Reggae Sumfest” Promotion?

   This Promotion provides an opportunity for five (5) H&L Rapid True Value customers to each win two VIP tickets each to Reggae Sumfest 2026, to be held on July 18, 2026.

2. What is the Promotional Period?

   This Promotion is valid from July 3, 2026, at 12:00 AM EST through July 10, 2026, at 11:59 PM EST.

3. Who is eligible to enter the Promotion?

   In order to be eligible for this Promotion, you must perform one of the following Qualifying Activities during the Promotional Period (“Eligible Customer”):

   1. Be a H&L Rapid True Value loyalty customer by signing up at any participating stores

      • All current loyalty customers are automatically eligible and must complete the following:
      • Spend $20,000, including GCT or more at participating stores. The Customer will receive one (1) entry per purchase of $20,000 or more.

   The following customers are excluded from participating in the Promotion:

   1. Persons under the age of 18 years old
   2. Customers who have elected not to participate in any Hardware and Lumber promotions;
   3. Employees/families of employees (Spouse and Children) of Hardware and Lumber Group companies, employees of affiliated companies associated with this Promotion;
   4. Ambassadors of Hardware and Lumber;
   5. Employees who have left Hardware and Lumber within the three (3) month period preceding the commencement date of the Promotion and during the Promotional Period;
   6. Directors of Hardware and Lumber during the Promotional Period;

4. How will entries be awarded?

   Entries will be awarded as follows:

5. Who can customers contact if they have queries or complaints about the Promotion?

   For assistance with queries or complaints in respect of this Promotion, customers may contact Hardware and Lumber's customer contact center customerservice@hardwareandlumber.com or 876-618-0829.

6. Is there a limit to the amount of times a customer can enter the Promotion?

   No, customers may enter the Promotion multiple times during the Promotional Period.

7. How many times can a customer enter and win?

   Customers may only win once during the Promotional Period.

8. What is the qualifying period and draw dates for the Promotion?

   The qualifying period and the draw dates are as follows:

   The winner will be selected by a random draw from the total pool of accumulated electronic entries. All draws will be conducted at Hardware and Lumber’s Headquarters, 697 Spanish Town Road, Kingston at 11:00 AM EST on the respective draw dates.

9. What are the prizes to be won for the Promotion?

10. How will the winners be selected?

    Entries will be randomly selected from an electronic pool of Eligible Customers via an external randomizer platform (random.org). On the draw date, a total of five (5) contact numbers will be pulled. The numbers will be arranged in a top-bottom sequential order, and the H&L representative will attempt to make contact until a winner has been identified. Five (5) backup winners will be drawn in sequential order and utilized in the event the primary winner cannot be contacted or is disqualified.

11. How will winners be notified?

    • Contact Method: The selected winner will be contacted primarily via telephone and secondarily via email, WhatsApp, or SMS, immediately following the draw on July 13, 2026.

    • Phone Contact: We will attempt to contact the customer via phone, with three attempts per day over the course of two days, starting on the draw date. A call is deemed unsuccessful if the phone rings without an answer, the call fails, or it goes to voicemail.

    • Follow-up Message (Email/WhatsApp/SMS): If contact cannot be made by phone, a follow-up message will be sent once per day for two consecutive days. The message will read: "Good Day, we are trying to get in touch with you to inform you that you are the selected Winner in the Win a VIP Experience for Two for a taste of Reggae Sumfest Promotion. Please confirm your receipt of this message."

    • Backup Activation: If no response is received from the primary winner after the four-day contact period, the first backup winner will be contacted using the same process.

    • Prize Invalidation: If the selected winner or the backup winner (following the order of the 5 backups drawn) fails to redeem the prize within the 4-day claim period, the prize will be invalidated, and Hardware and Lumber Limited will retain the prize.

12. What will winners need in order to claim their prize?

    The winner must redeem their prize by presenting a valid government-issued photo I.D. (Passport, Driver's License, or National I.D.) for validation.

    Special Needs Winners

    If a selected winner has special needs and is unable to collect their prize and/or submit the relevant documents, that winner will be allowed to have a representative act on their behalf. Such representative must provide written consent from the winner selected, witnessed by a Justice of the Peace and valid Government-issued photo identification for both the winner and their representative to claim the prize.

    Forfeiture of Prizes

    If a winner is unable to provide the above information and documents within the timeframe stipulated above, the prize will be forfeited. If a prize is forfeited, Hardware and Lumber reserves the right to select another winner in accordance with the mechanism specified herein, subject to consultation and approval from the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Commission.

    Additional Considerations for Prize Redemption

    1. Winners are required to sign a Redemption Form confirming receipt of their prize.
    2. Prizes may not be transferred or exchanged unless otherwise approved by the Betting, Gaming, and Lotteries Commission.
    3. Save in the event of its gross negligence, neither Hardware and Lumber, nor any other person or party associated with the Promotion, their associated companies, agents, contractors, and sponsors, or any of its personnel involved in the Promotion, shall be liable whatsoever for any loss or damage incurred or suffered, death or personal injury suffered or sustained, or costs incurred, arising from either participation in the Promotion or from claiming any reward.

Additional Terms and Conditions

1. This Promotion is offered for your personal use and not for commercial use.
2. We reserve the right to disqualify you or terminate (upon consultation and approval of the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Commission) this offer if, in our opinion, the Promotion is being abused, such abuse to include but not be limited to selling or attempts to sell the prizes, whether on a commercial basis or otherwise, general abuse deemed as an attempt to undermine the integrity of our services.
3. The selected winners must have complied with these Terms and Conditions to enter.
4. We reserve the right to, at any time, with or without notice, vary or cancel the terms and conditions of this Promotion upon consultation and approval of the Betting, Gaming, and Lotteries Commission. In the event of us giving notice to you of any such changes to or cancellation of the Promotion, it shall suffice for us to give you notice via messages to your handset/device or to post such notification on the Hardware and Lumber website. Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notifications.
5. By entering this Promotion, you consent to the use of your personal data by Hardware and Lumber Limited and/or any agent appointed by it to assist with running the Promotion for the purposes of administration of the Promotion (including publishing your full name and country and/or disclosing it to third parties in accordance with applicable law) and any other purposes to which you have consented. If you refuse to do so, you forfeit your right to claim the prize if you are selected as the winner.
6. Winners agree to take part in any promotional, marketing, or publicity activities or events reasonably requested by Hardware and Lumber Limited, failing which the prize may be forfeited. By participating in the Promotion, you consent to the use of your name, likeness, image, or photograph for any and all programming and/or advertising purposes, commercial or otherwise, in all media and formats used by Hardware and Lumber or its agencies, without further compensation, throughout the world in perpetuity. If you refuse to do so, you forfeit your right to claim the prize if you are selected as the winner.
